Allahu Akbar

Boston jihadis' mother: "I don’t care if my youngest son is going to be killed today. I want the world to hear this.
And, I don’t care if I am going to get killed too. And I will say Allahu Akbar!"

  Muslims, when they cry "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is greater) before they engage in violence are also telling us that their religion is at the root of their violence. The fact that it means "God is greater" and not "God is great" is very significant according to Robert Spencer who wrote:

"When Allah's Apostle fought or raided people, we raised our voices saying, Allahu-Akbar! Allahu-Akbar!  None has the right to be worshipped but Allah"

More to the point it is the phrase Islamic suicide bombers yell before blowing themseles - and whoeer else they can - to smithereens.  Allahu Akbar were the last words many of the 9/11 victims heard before Muslim terrorists flew their hijacked airplanes into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and a filed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, killing nearly three thousand innocent people. 

In the cockpit voice recorders they retrieved from the wreckage of United Airlines Flight 93, the hijackers can be heard reciting it repeatedly as the plane heads for the ground.  The last sound heard on the recorder before the plane crashed was the voice of the hijacker screaming Allahu Akbar seven times.

   In this video Muslims shout Allahu Akbar as they fire rockets into Israel.

   After Muslims murdered 359 Christians in Sri Lanka in Easter 2019, ISIS released a video showing the terrorists pledging allegiance to the Caliph of ISIS and shouting, "Allahu Akbar."

    In the Parisian suburb of Bagneux, someone recently (2018) vandalized the memorial plaque for Ilan Halimi, a young Jew who was kidnapped, tortured and murdered by a French Muslims in 2006, just for being a Jew.   What kind of hatred would not only motivate Muslims to torture Ilan but also vandalize his memorial plaque after his gruesome murder...  After torturing Ilan Halimi to death, Muslims murdered Jews at a school in Toulouse and a kosher supermarket in Paris. ... After that, a retired Jewish doctor and schoolteacher, Sarah Halimi, was beaten and thrown to her death from her balcony, in the Belleville district of Paris. The man who murdered her, while yelling "Allahu Akbar" ("Allah is Greater"), was a Muslim neighbor.

   Sunni Muslim of the ISIS militia took over Tikrit and Mosul in June 2014.  The following is a report by a Dominican in Mosul to his provincial superior.

 “I am writing in a critical and apocalyptic situation. The majority of the inhabitants of the city have already fled their homes and have ran away to the villages; they sleep out in the open without anything to eat and drink. Thousands of gunmen of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant have attacked Mosul in the past two days. They murdered adults and children. Hundreds of bodies have been left in the streets and in the homes, without any mercy. Even the Army and the regular forces have abandoned the city, along with the governor. From the mosques you hear the cry: “Allah Akhbar, long live the Islamic state”.

From the message you can imagine that even in Qaraqosh – the most important town of the plain of Nineveh, where in recent years many Christians had taken refuge – the situation is disturbing. A Dominican religious wrote yesterday: “Qaraqosh is flooded with all kinds of refugees, without food or accommodation. The checkpoints and Kurdish militias are preventing many refugees from entering Kurdistan. What we are seeing and we are living in the last two days is horrible and catastrophic. The monastery of Mar Behnam and other churches have fallen into rebel hands … and now they have arrived here and five minutes ago they entered Qaraqosh. We are surrounded and threatened with death … Pray for us. I’m sorry but I cannot go on writing … They’re not very far from our monastery …”

 According to The New York Times (9/5/04), when Muslim terrorists took over an elementary school in Belsan, Russia, they shouted "Allahu Akbar".  The terrorists were killed but managed to kill 156 children first.  (Foxnews 9/7/04)

    When the PLO occupied Lebanon they massacred the Christians there.  Bat Ye'or in her book Eurabia wrote about one of the massacres as follows:

An eyewitness gave an account of the massacre of 582 Christians in Damur by the PLO and its Muslim allies on January 22, 1976: "The attack took place from the mountain behind.  It was an apocalypse.  They were coming, thousands and thousands, shouting 'Allahu Akbar! God is great!  Let us attack them for the Arabs, let us offer a holocaust to Mohammad!'  And they were slaughtering everyone in their path, men, women and children."

    The power of Muslim influence on the West can be seen in the fact that this massacre is forgotten and what is remembered is the Christian retaliation to Muslim atrocities which took place in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla which has been blamed on Ariel Sharon.

   Reza Kahlili became a spy for the CIA after seeing the inside of Evin prison.  He wrote:

distant screams and pleas for mercy cut through the silence.  They echoed through the hallway from a floor below us.  Moments later, I saw a line of blindfolded prisoners being led to a room.  By this point, my palms were sweating and my heart was pounding.

The guard told me to wait in the hall while he arranged my visit with Davood's children.  The sounds and the smells continued to swirl around me and I felt dizzy and aghast.

Moments later, I stared straight into the abyss.  A group of armed guards emerged from a doorway.  With them, a dozen teenage girls struggled barefoot down the hall.  I went numb as they passed in front of me.  These children seemed broken both mentally and physically.  I could see that some were in shock.  Some had tears rolling down their swollen faces.  Others had blood caked on their skin.  The rest seemed hopeless and resigned an expression one should never see on someone so young.

I didn't think it was possible for me to feel more miserable than I felt in that moment.  Until I realized that one of the faces was Parvaneh's   this stuneed me so much that I fell back and had to brace myself against the wall...

Parvaneh just lowered her head, totally defeated, and turned away.  She never even acknowledged my presence.  I have no idea if she knew it was me or if she just saw another toermentor when she looked into my eyes. 

Tears welled up and I said a silent prayer, feeling damned by my helplessness.  I stood paralyzed.  Within minutes, dozens of gunshots echoed through the hallway from the distance...

When the peal of the gunfire ended, the Azan, the call for the prayer, blared over the speakers.

"Allaho Akbar, Allaho Akbar..."

The guard who just paraded Parvaneh and other girls in front of the firing squad joined others in his group in their praise of God, "Allaho Akbar...Ash-hadu anna la ilaha illallah...Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan-rasool Allah...Hayya ala-salat..Hayyaalal-falah..Hayya ala khair al-amal...God is great...I testify there is no God but Allah....I testify that Mohammad is Allah's messenger...Haste for prayer...Haste for deliverance...Haste for good deeds..."

    The following is a video of Muslim men raping Christian girls and shouting Allahu Akbar in 2009.  There have been many Muslim rapes of Christians since then but this one is on video.  They start by shouting "Nasara" which is the Koran's derogatory word for Christians.  These words indicate this was a religiously motivated attack on the infidel. 

    The Islamic organization Boko Haram kidnaps Christian girls in Nigeria and makes them into sex slaves.  The Telegraph told about an attack in Chibok, Nigeria:

In the Chibok attack, as with the Warabe seizure, the militants arrived disguised as soldiers.

"Don't worry, we're soldiers," one 16-year-old girl told AP she remembered them saying. "Nothing is going to happen to you."

The gunmen commanded the hundreds of students at the Chibok Government Girls Secondary School to gather outside. The men went into a storeroom and removed all the food. Then they set fire to the room.

"They started shouting, 'Allahu Akhbar,' (God is great)," the 16-year-old student said. "And we knew."
 

   Israel National News reported on 11/8/02 how Soldiers near Kedumim, between Shechem and Raanana, prevented a major terror attack on the previous night.  They ordered a PA taxi to stop as it approached the Jit Junction checkpoint, and the two passengers to get out.  The soldiers, standing about 20 meters away, told the men to lift their shirts - a common measure used to check if suspected terrorists are wearing an explosives belt.  The two Arabs did so, uncovering exactly that type of explosive apparel on one of them.  The terrorist then yelled, "Allahu Akbar" and started running towards the soldiers.  The latter fired at him, he fell to the ground - and exploded.  The second Arab, his apparent accomplice, was also killed in the blast.  A search of the taxi turned up another bomb in the trunk.

A videotape with cries of Allahu Akbar in the background showed a Muslim beheading a Westerner. (New York Post 8/12/04)

   On January 5, 2002 A Moslem man attempted to kill Rabbi Gabriel Farhi, 34, in a Paris synagogue on Shabbat (Arutz 7 news 1/5/03).  The would-be murderer entered the synagogue, yelled, "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is great), and stabbed the rabbi in his stomach.  The victim is a member of a Jewish liberal movement in France, and active in efforts to bring about dialogue between Jews and members of other faiths, especially Moslems. 

   Ironically the cry of Allahu Akbar saved an Israeli border policeman from being stabbed by a knife wielding 16 year old girl.  He heard her cries of Allahu Akbar and turned around in time to avoid her knife (Israel National News May 29, 01).

   At around 7  Israel time on March 2, 2002, a Moslem walked onto packed Beit Israel Street in the quarter of the same name and detonated a device - packed with explosives and metal - leveling a community that was celebrating the end of the sabbath.

   "I saw children and babies wounded," said an Israeli student who identified himself as Efraim. "I saw a friend of mine with his hand blasted off."

   Hearing the news, Palestinian demonstrators in the West Bank town of Ramallah, where Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat had been holed up for three months, rejoiced, pumping their fists in the air and shouting, "Allahu Akbar!" (New York Post Mar 3, 02).

   Oriana Fallaci, in her book The Rage and The Pride tells the story of twelve impure women:

(what was the impurity they had committed I never knew) whom in 1975 the sons of Allah executed at Dacca, Bangladesh.  They executed them in the stadium, with bayonet stabs in the thorax, and at the presence of twenty thousand believers who sitting in the tribunes prayed Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar. God is great, God is great...

Did they take off their burkahs, did they unveil their faces to drink a glass of water?  Did they challenge the prohibition to sing, did they hum a lullaby to some newborn child?  Or did they commit the crime of laughing? (Yessir: of laughing.  I wrote "laughing".  Didn't you know that Fundamentalist Moslems forbid women to laugh?)

      In 2005, A 30-year-old Palestinian Muslim woman, was apparently murdered by members of her family for having had a romance with a Christian man from Taiba.

When her family discovered that she had been involved in a forbidden relationship with a Christian, they apparently forced her to drink poison.  A Taiba resident recounted the revenge of the Muslims (keep in mind the Muslim killed her not the Christians)   (Khaled Abu Toameh, Muslims Ransack Christian Village, The Jerusalem Post, 9/5/05)

“More than 500 Muslim men, chanting Allahu Akbar [God is great], attacked us at night.  They poured kerosene on many buildings and set them on fire. Many of the attackers broke into houses and stole furniture, jewelry and electrical appliances."

Another resident said

"It was like a war, they arrived in groups, and many of them were holding clubs,  Some people saw them carrying weapons. They first attacked houses belonging to the Khoury family [looking for the man who had the affair with the women, not realizing he had already fled the village.] Then they went to their relatives. They entered the houses and destroyed everything there."

   In their quest for Paradise, Moslems open the fiery gates of hell in earthly paradises with their bombs.  The beautiful land of Kashmir and the beautiful island of Bali are examples.  On 10/12/02 a massive car bomb probably ignited by Jemaah Islamiah destroyed the Sari Club in Kuta Beach  killing more than 187 people and injuring 300.  Bloodied survivors fled the Sari Club at the Kuta Beach resort, some with limbs blown off. Cars and motorbikes on the road in front of the club were alight, forming a wall of flames blocking people's escape.   (NYPost online breaking news 10/13/02).  MSNBC (Oct 15, 02) quoted Indonesian Health Minister Achmad Suyudi as saying:

Bali used to be known as paradise, Now, it’s like hell in paradise.

   The book Thunder from the East tells of a frightening scene in which the cry of "Allahu Akbar" was heard.   An excerpt is given below:

He must have been a raffishly handsome young man, with his bushy eyebrows, large coal-black eyes, high-cheekboned face, and thick mop of black hair dangling over his ears. He looked pale but improbably serene, showing no sign of the torture he had endured, and those eyes were still wide open and frozen in a final instant of surprise. He had a strong, projecting chin, but his head ended a few inches below that chin in a jagged eruption of blood, tissue, and bone. His head had been hacked off with a machete and was impaled on a bamboo stake, and he seemed to be staring at me.

I stared back. That abrupt transition from human flesh to bamboo stake wrenched my gut and paralyzed my legs. I was scared stiff. The mob that had killed him was in front of me now, the killers waving machetes and screaming Allahu Akbar, God is great. There were about two dozen of them, mostly men in their twenties and thirties, all riding motorcycles slowly down the main street of the little farmtown of Turen, Indonesia.

  Indonesia is not the only place where infidel heads are held on sticks.  In the video below Cynthia Farahat tells how after Khomeini with the help of the left, took over Iran his government killed their leftist allies and carried with their heads on sticks.

  When Islamic hijackers crashed flight 93 into the ground near Shanksville PA on Sept 11, 2001, the last words of the terrorists recorded by the flight recorder were:

  Allahu Akbar.

When they started hijacking flight 93 they also shouted Allahu Akbar.  There is a very disturbing reenactment of the hijacking and the hijackers shouting Allahu Akbar in the video embedded below.  Don't watch it if you don't want nightmares or if you are under the age of 18.  The entire video with interviews with family members can be seen here.

   When Sheik Omar Bakri Muhammad gave a sermon at a London Meeting hall where a giant screen behind him showed images of the World Trade Center falling some of the audience shouted, Allahu Akbar. (Militant Imams Under Scrutiny Across Europe, New York Times 1/25/05)

   When EgyptAir co-pilot Gamil Al Batuti was alone in the cockpit in Oct 31, 1999 of FLIGHT 990 he shut off the autopilot and the engines and put the aircraft into a steep dive, all the while intoning:

  Allahu Akbar.

   The Boeing 767 broke up in midair and crashed into the ocean off Nantucket Island, killing all 217 souls aboard (Allah is the Greatest worldnetdaily 7/31/04).

   When the Muslim Turks took children away from their infidel parents to make them into soldiers for Allah, their mothers and sisters would desperately follow the horsemen who would drive them away with whips with loud cries of Allah.

   On March 31.2004, four Americans guards were driving their SUVs through the Iraqi city of Fallujah.  Iraqis ambushed them and dragged their burned and buthered bodies through the streets, and hung two of them from a bridge - while cheering, dancing and chanting anti-American slogans (New York Post 4/1/04).    Meanwhile, 12 miles from Fallujah, five GIs were killed when a bomb exploded under their armored personnel carrier.  A crowd of hundreds of men and boys quickly surrounded the SUVs, flashing victory signs and chanting, "Long live Islam," "Allahu Akbar (God is Great)" and "We sacrifice our blood and souls for Islam."

   According to the New York Post:

As plumes of inky smoke rose into the sky, the mob pulled an American who was still alive from one of the SUVs.

"He had gotten shot in his chest," truck driver Ahmed Obayid, 38, told the Washington Post.  "The people killed him by throwing bricks on him until they killed him.  They cut off his arm and his leg and his head and they were cheering and dancing.

  Allahu Akbar.

   The following is a video of a funeral for a terrorist.  The mourners never took off his suicide vest.  He exploded during the funeral after which one hears hysterical cries of Allahu Akbar.  Perhaps those screaming Allahu Akbar believe that Allah made the corpse explode because they are not devout enough. 

Another cry was heard when  Muslims burned down a convention center in Germany.  It was  “There isn’t enough Nutella, Gummibears, and chocolate.” This is not a joke.

In October 2017 Sayfullo Saipov drove a truck onto a Manhattan bike path and murdered eight people while screaming “Allahu akbar.”  He would have murdered more but he crashed into a school bus.

AllahuAkbarSyndrome.  There is a lot of denial about the motive of people who shout Allahu Akbar before they kill. 

There is a lot of obfuscation about the Jihad connection to the phrase Allahu Akbar because that would imply that Islam is not a beautiful peaceful religion.  Robert Spencer talks about that below.
