5.10 The End of Chinese Freedom

Xi Jinping is the current leader of China.  He is taking away the freedom that the Chinese people had under Deng Xiaoping and shifting power to himself.  He grew up in a family that was close to Mao Zedong a man whose responsible for the deaths of over 40 million people.  He has dressed himself in the same gray suit that Mao wore and he is a socialist just like Mao was.

One of the freedoms that Xi Jinping is taking away from the Chinese people is the freedom to become wealthy.  Today wealthy Chinese people are disappearing.   People who become billionaires have disappeared and their money has been confiscated by the government. It's becoming harder and harder to find jobs that pay a decent salary in China.

Another freedom that is missing from China is the freedom of free speech.  People are afraid to speak.  There is a price to be paid for not allowing people to speak.  People who initially warned about the Corona virus disappeared in China because it made the government look bad and so threatened the government's power.  If the Chinese people knew that  the virus that was killing everyone had been developed in a Chinese government lab and accidentally released because the government didn't take the correct precautions they would be very angry at the government.  Instead the Chinese government hid the truth that there was a virus and then when that was impossible said it wasn't contagious and then when that was impossible, blamed America.  If those who disappeared had been allowed to speak maybe the Corona virus could have been contained and many people living in China and around the world would be alive today who died because of it.   Controlling the information about the Corona virus resulted in many dead Chinese and hurt the Chinese economy as well as economies around the world.

There's another terrible price that may be paid for stifling free speech.  Xi Jinpeng wants China to invade Taiwan.  While he hides in an underground shelter he may order the invasion and start World War III.  Few if any people in mainland China think it's a bad idea because no one can speak out against it and tell them it's a bad idea.  Instead they believe it's their duty to go to war with America and conquer Taiwan to unify China and add to China's glory and power.  If Xi Jinping does order Chinese troops to invade Taiwan he may be responsible for even more deaths than Mao was.

China buys most of Iran's oil and sells Iran sophisticated weapons, weapons that Iran provides to its terrorist proxies, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza and other enemies of Israel.   A Chinese satellite firm aided Houthi attacks on U.S. warships.   China arms the Houthis who attack international shipping and Israel.  Many heroic young Israelis have died defending their country against terrorists who have Chinese arms as a result.  China is also a bully in the South China Sea where it rams ships from the Phillipines and Vietnam.  China bullies India.  China has occupied Tibet and is encroaching elsewhere on its border with India.  China tries to control people through their religions.  When the Dalai Lama announced that his successor had to be chosen the traditional way the Chinese government insisted that the successor had to be approved by the Chinese government.

China's United Front Work Department abducts protestors against China in other countries, and transports them to Chinese prisons.  It assaults anti-Chinese activists in other countries and pressures Chinese employees abroad to steal secrets by holding their families hostage.  They take visitors to China, hostage to pressure countries to bend to Xi Xingping's will.

Chinese students abroad, for instance, have been asked to inform on their fellow classmates – one way to keep those in the diaspora in line, and to ensure they do not speak critically of the state. Confucius Institutes, are a network of language and culture centres with international branches that are ultimately controlled by the Chinese state. Beijing has long described these as a way to bridge different cultures. But the institutes, often operating at British universities, have also been alleged to be a front for the CCP to crackdown on criticism of Beijing. Such concerns have become serious enough that the UK recently pulled funding from the centres attached to university campuses.

In the United States, Confucius Institutes began closing in the wake of state and federal policies that targeted Confucius Institutes for their risks to U.S. national security. But in June 2022, The National Association of Scholars, found that many once-defunct Confucius Institutes had reopened under new names. As detailed in After Confucius Institutes: China’s Enduring Influence on American Higher Education, many colleges and universities had replaced their Confucius Institute with a substantially similar program, or maintained closed relationships with Chinese institutions that had partnered in the Confucius Institute. These rebranding efforts match those of the Chinese government, which has reorganized Confucius Institutes under a new organization, the Chinese International Education Foundation.

China runs more than 100 Confucius Institutes in the U.S., plus another 500 Confucius Classrooms, all of which are overseen by an agency of the Chinese Ministry of Education which suppress information about Chinese oppression and aggression. China took over Tibet. North Carolina State University went so far as to disinvite the Dalai Lama under pressure from a local Confucius Institute. The result is that students get a remarkably one-sided view of China, whether through outright propaganda or the quiet omission of China's faults. American professors, too, face pressure to self-censor. Colleges don't want to lose the money that China provides for these institutes, so they pressure scholars to tone down research projects that investigate China's human rights abuses or offend the Chinese government. Often the head of the local Confucius Institute is a colleague who will vote on promotion and tenure, putting special pressure on young, untenured professors.

China doesn't just indoctrinate college students.  The People's Forum has ties to China gets money from a millionaire who lives in China and funds protests and indoctrination.  They fund the Party for Socialism and Liberation, PSL which stands with North Korea for open borders, abolishing the police and ICE.  Through hatred of Zionism they get people on board with radical policies like open borders and getting rid of the police.

China has been building up its Navy and nuclear arsenal very quickly.  China is planning to invade Taiwan.  It has been very aggressive toward the Phillippines.  There is concern that China may attack the United States.

China sells the precursors to Fentanyl to Mexico.  Fentanyl has killed many Americans.   It is highly likely that China made the Covid virus and allowed it to spread into the United States.

In 2023 Local and federal officials raided a facility in Reedley, California, which turned out to be an illegal Chinese-run virus laboratory that was genetically engineering mice and experimenting with HIV, herpes and malaria.

In 2025, two Chinese nationals Yunqing Jian, 33, and her boyfriend Zunyong Liu, 34, were arrested for bringing into the U.S. a highly dangerous fungus that could kill many crops.

"The only way to stop this is to sever relations with China," attorney and Chinese Communist Party expert Gordon Chang told Fox News Digital. "And I know people think that's drastic, but we are being overwhelmed, and we are going to get hit. And we are going to get hit really hard. Not just with COVID, not just with fentanyl, but perhaps with something worse."

Chinese gangs are using illegal pesticides and slave labor on illegal marijuana farms in the United States.  Janet Levy wrote:

Some of these substances are even banned in China. Yet, investigators determined they were smuggled in from there: initially brought to California and then distributed to grow houses in Oregon, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Maine, and New York. After harvest, the remnants of the contaminated crops are dumped or buried around these properties. Agents have reported symptoms such as burning eyes, bloody noses, skin irritation, headaches, and dizziness during inspections of grow houses. In one California case, a specialized WMD detection team from the National Guard was brought in to analyze samples from a grow site. They found ten highly toxic chemicals, one with a half-life of 14 years.
