16.18 Love Jihad

The word Jihad means struggle but it is often used to mean struggle against the infidel, especially war.  Love Jihad is the manipulation of women into becoming radical Muslims by Muslims who pretend to love them.  The term refers specifically to the manipulation of Hindu women although other infidel women all over the world are targetted in this way as well.  Some of these women join radical terrorist organizations after being brainswashed.   If you search for Love Jihad on Google you'll see links to many web sites that say it's a conspiracy theory.  Even Wikipedia says Love Jihad is a conspiracy theory.  Is Love Jihad a conspiracy theory or is it real?  If Love Jihad isn't a conspiracy theory, what does that say about the trustworthiness of the internet and Wikipedia?

One movie about Love Jihad has been made.   It is called the Kerala story.  Kerala is a state at the southernmost tip of India.

The characters in the Kerala story are fictional but the story is based on thousands of stories that did happen.

The Kerala Story begins with the ill-fated journey of three girls, two of whom are Hindu and one Christian, to a college in the Muslim-dominated Kasaragod District in Kerala. The Christian girl, Nimah Matthews, is marginally Christian, whereas the two Hindu girls, Shalini and Gitanjali, are hardly informed of and observant of Hinduism. All three fall prey to Islamic indoctrination by Asifa, a fanatical hijab-clad Muslim woman who is secretly is a member of ISIS.  Asifa scares the three non-Muslim girls about the fate that awaits them in hell for even the most minor transgressions such as not thanking Allah for putting food on the table. Of course being told you'll go to hell if you don't believe is not a reason to believe.  If someone told you that if you don't believe that the moon is made of green cheese and is being eaten by a giant mouse that you will burn eternally in the hellfire would you believe the moon is made of green cheese?

When the three girls in the movie are told they will be severely punished by Allah for not saying a blessing they are initially puzzled that God would be so irrationally vengeful.  In order to convince the girls to wear hijabs, Asifa organizes an Islamist mob to publicly molest the three girls. The girls are informed that they were only molested because they did not wear the hijab. Although the girls initially find the suggestion revolting, they end up wearing the hijab out of fear and compulsion. Many women wear the hijab because they are intimidated into doing so.  Asifa tells the Hindu girls that their Hindu gods are powerless unlike Allah, who is depicted as all powerful. Asifa then introduces the three vulnerable girls to Muslim men, who pretend to love and care for them. The girls begin rejecting their own religions and begin embracing various Islamic practices.

In the movie one of the girls follows her terrorist husband to a very dangerous part of Syria.  Other bad things happen to the girls in the movie, you can read about those by clicking here.    There are plenty of real life stories in which those things and other bad things have happened to ISIS brides.  You can see a trailer of the movie below.

Thanks to the internet, male members of ISIS work to woo women online so they’ll to travel to the Middle East, where the men can marry one or more of them, or the women can be used as lures for other male recruits.

“It’s all about the social media that is being used to lure these young women,” she said. “Then the women are used as a reward. They are ranked according to value in terms of blondes and converts will be more desirable… By marrying them [the women] off and encouraging children immediately, it retains the men and makes it less likely that they will go back to their home countries.”

In January 2015 a 19-year-old American woman, Shannon Conley, was sentenced to four years in prison for attempting to go to Syria to join ISIS. The FBI had said Conley fell in love with a member of the group online and planned to travel to the Middle East to marry him.

FBI agents reportedly met with the Colorado woman repeatedly beginning in late 2013, trying to talk her out of supporting the terror group. But the AP reported that Conley flatly told the agents she was going to wage jihad in the Middle East, even if it was illegal.

In England Pakistani Muslim gangs also prey on innocent non-Muslim girls.  Their goal is to force girls into prostitution and make money off of them.   One non-Muslim group who has been victimized in this way are the Sikhs.  A Sikh interviews Andrew Norfok a journalist for the London Times about the Love Jihad in England in the video below. Note I refer to this as Love Jihad because they are manipulating British girls by pretending to love them.  Andrew Norfolk and the Sikh refer to this as sexual grooming.

Jewish women in Israel are lured into marriages with Muslims which they can't escape from.  There is an Israeli organization called Yad L'Achim which means a hand for brothers, that tries to rescue them.  Yossi Eliav, a director of Yad L'Achim said:

“People aren't aware how many hundreds of girls are drawn into these nightmares every year.  It's almost impossible for a Westerner to imagine how totally trapped a Jewish woman is in an Arab village.“Some live truly like prisoners, without access to a phone or even the freedom to step outside,”

The following is a video of a Yad L'Achim rescue.
